Players must fight their way across this world using a mixture of melee weapons, magic and puzzle-solving and platforming skills to defeat a variety of enemy types, each with particular strengths and weakness. By besting each, players collect in-game currency that can be used to upgrade weapons and skills.
In addition to combat players also must explore every corner of this strange world to find clues, messages and potions that help to literally unlock memories that will finally expose the truth behind the madness. There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later. I played the original Alice game so many times that I caanot find any other way to play it.
I was happy when I learned that there was a sequel. It arrived in great shape and the CD Rom was in excellent shape! I installed the game and tried to run it. I kept getting a message that it had to verify the release date, and would get a message that it could not verify and to try again later.
Three or four days later, I figured out how to get it to work, but I cannot tell you how because I believe it may be illegal.
Thje game does work. Grapjics are wondergul. Game Play is easy to figure out BUTG, you have to do something illegal in order to get the game to work and, therefore, I cannopt tell youj how I did it.

One person found this helpful. The original, America McGee's Alice, is one of my all time favorites although the graphics now look pretty clunky by today's standards.
I was happy to see that this sequel preserves the demented perspective and mood of the first game, and the added benefit of Physx for those with an nVidia card really ups the beauty of the visuals. There have been quite a few complaints about the keyboard controls on the PC version, both here and on-line.
These are my observations so far I haven't finished the game : Umbrella glitch: The trick is to keep the Caps Lock key depressed when hitting the "E" key this always brings up the umbrella for me. Just tapping the Caps Lock key won't work. I should note that I haven't remapped any of the controls or modified the.
Battle music persisting: I had this happen to me and I had to start a new game, because rather than fight all the foes I figured I could get away with just running to the next level.
This game is not forgiving of such behavior; you have to take care of all business before moving on. Graphic anomalies: From what I've seen every one that has reported weird graphic problems is running Windows 7 bit. I'm running the bit version and have yet to experience problems, and wonder if there's a connection.
